Construction Inspection

ON-SITE TECHNICAL SERVICES INC offers a broad range of construction inspection services for new building construction, as well as transportation, utilities, water/wastewater treatment and conveyance, and recreational projects. ON-SITE provides Owners, Construction Companies and Construction Management Firms with highly trained, professional inspectors who carry all necessary certifications and registrations, enabling them to complete each project safely and efficiently. This assures a greater degree of confidence that the work performed, conforms to governing specifications, codes and standards and to resolve problems at the lowest level before they occur. Competent and thorough inspection is one of the most important elements in achieving a successful construction project.

ON-SITE also provides Coatings Inspection and Testing, Electrical and Instrument Inspections, Specification and Submittal review, Welder and Weld procedure qualification, Technical support for problem resolution and failure analysis. Since many of ON-SITE Inspectors are multi-disciplined, our Inspectors can frequently support multiple inspection disciplines, thereby providing efficiencies in cost and time.

Our highly trained CWI’s observe and perform evaluations on many different aspects of the steel field erections and shop welded fabrications. Our AWS (American Welding Society) certified welding inspectors have performed visual welding inspection and evaluation on numerous projects including: buildings; bridges; commercial, industrial, and heavy piping systems (including pipes, flanges, pumps, and fittings) pressure vessels; storage tanks. Our welding inspectors possess multiple certifications and have completed extensive training and course work and they are intimately familiar with welding and piping codes, standards, and procedures. Their experience also includes: dimensional verification; receipt inspection of materials; monitoring and oversight of fabrication and installation of components to ensure conformance with plans and specs; and review of welding qualifications and procedures.

Several of our certified welding inspectors are also experienced coatings inspectors, which makes them a very effective and efficient option for performing both types of inspections simultaneously, especially at remote locations. Supporting our inspectors, ON-SITE’s project managers process multiple certifications and have experience in overseeing and inspecting multiple disciplines including: structural; welding; electrical – both high voltage & low voltage; traction power; signals; coatings; civil/site; utilities; mechanical; building construction; and many other disciplines. The ON-SITE team can provide both fabrication inspection and site construction professionals which provides continuity from the initial phases of equipment selection and fabrication thru Startup.
